Crime Information

Vehicle of Interest-Homicide / Destiny McClain / Area of 1700 E. McDowell Road

On Sunday, July 18, 2021 at approximately 3:23 a.m., Destiny McClain was standing at a food truck in the area of 17th Street and McDowell Road when she was struck by one of several bullets that were fired into the crowd of people surrounding her. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. A vehicle of interest was seen leaving the area eastbound on McDowell Road from 17th Street. Investigators are seeking any information regarding this incident.
